A MOST REMARKABLE BED!

Now, these are pictures of our most remarkable bed! Dave and his team are justifiably proud of it--
it took them ages to design it, and first they made two models to make sure it would work.
The first picture shows how the bed is when it is put away for the day time.
The bottom end folds against the wall leaving the top two thirds in situ.

(You'll have to excuse the debris on it!)


And, when we go to bed, the bottom end drops down
and forms a bed across the width of the boat.
We had it made this way as neither of us wanted to sleep squashed against the side,
as we would have been had we had it built the other way.

The mattress is also made in two parts, and the bottom section
folds up in to the wall with the frame.
