We Set Off At Last, After The Long Winter Break
Friday, 2nd March--We Set Sail at Last
We leave Llangollen. Beautiful Weather. We Meet the only Boats About on the Canal, in the Single Width Section! Over The Aqueduct. A chance Meeting. The Weather gets Colder. The Dredgers are on the Loose. Moored up at St. Martin's. Straight through Ellesmere. We moor up at Hampton Bank. On to Platt Lane. Sorry, you can't eat here! Whitchurch and a Clean Bill of Health from the Optician.
Friday, 9th March--In to the Marina and off on an Adventure
We Move on along the Llangollen. Moored at Wrenbury for Two Nights. In to Swanley Bridge Marina. Off to Brighouse for a Busman's Holiday! We Travel on the Maiden Voyage of the Dutch barge Merlot. The Hebble Spike. Some of these locks are a bit Tight! Where's the Countryside Gone? The Locks and the Canals get Bigger and Bigger.Stuck in a Lock for Two Hours. What are These Traffic Lights for? Hundred Feet Barges. A Breach Causes a Change of Plan. Now you're on Your Own, Folks!

Friends come to Visit--The Darned Wind!--Bye Bye Beryl and Trevor, sniff, sniff!--A Tricky Manoeuvre--We Meet More Friends--Misty Nantwich--A Broken Paddle--Lots of Locks--Cheap Diesel--We Meet the Rellies--A Few Days at Tixall Wide.

A Walk round Great Haywood--In to King's Bromley marina, Wood and all!--We Meet New Friends--A Weekend Away--Spring is Really Here--Another Nice Walk, Round Hartshill--More Friends Come to See us--Now it's Reserved Moorings, Apparently!--Friends Spoil Us!
Monday, 9th April--Ansty to Somerton Common
A Walk Round Easenhall--A Chance Meeting--A Cruise with Friends--A Weekend Away--We Pass Our Boat Safety Certificate--A Trip to the Bottom Blacker--Trev Gives a Talk--My Brother Arrives for a Week--A Visit to the Fender Maker--More Carousing--Claydon Museum of Bygones--We reach Banbury
