We finish the last walk for the book. A week in Barcelona. The last few nights in Warwick.
Saturday, 29th September We're Off!!
We set off for Llangollen at last. Up the Hatton Flight, in record time, with help. Don's new boat. Cherry joins us. Up the Lapworth Flight. Two nights in the centre of Birmingham. We eat for England. A visit to the theatre. Off to Wolverhampton. We drop the handcuff key in the canal. A tranquil mooring.
Monday, 8th October Some Lovely Cruising
We're off at last. Have you seen the aqueduct in the sky? More rellies! Two lovely days in Tixall Wide. Stone boats. A few special days on the Leek & Caldon Canal. The boat gets a repaint. An appointment with the coalman. The dreaded Harecastle Tunnel. Heartbreak Hill. Friends join us. A patchwork course. The Langollen at last!
Tuesday, 23rd October The Final Stretch
On to the Llangollen Canal at last. Trev is Famous.... More Rellies. Up Through the Locks. Idyllic Weather. We Meet Friends. Through Tunnels and Over Aqueducts. Friends Arrive to Stay. A Lovely Day Out. We Celebrate Trev's Birthday. We Settle Down for the Winter.
