April 1st-5th We Travel the length of the Llangollen Canal
Friends join us--Over the Pontycysslte in a strong wind--A lot of eating out--Wish we had a bowthruster!--BW dredges the canal--We make good progesss--Goodbye to the Llangollen till November--and good bye to Cherry till August

April 6th--18th All the Way to the River Trent and Beyond
The Not So Secret Bunker--We finish the Locks on the Shroppie--Boo Hoo, the Pub was Closed--A Sad Story--Cruising will Become Much More Expensive--Lots of Wildlife--We Break New Ground--To the End of the Trent & Mersey--Wide Water--On to the Soar

April 19th--26th Down the River Soar and on to the Grand Union
Migrant Birds Return--On Down the Soar--Leicester Approaches--Rubbish and Neglect--A Few Visits to the Weed Hatch--A Hail of Stones--Back into the Countryside Once More--Foxton Flight--We Leave the Leicester Branch--A Sad Story--We Make Good Progress Despite the Weather--Another Closed Pub--Working Boats--A Bit of a To Do!--

April 27th--16th May Down the Grand Union and Out on to the Thames
A Long, Long Trip--We Join Quercus for a Very Full Day's Cruise--Awful Weather--A Visit to the Canalway Cavalcade--Into Little Venice--Some Interesting Towpath Companions!--Lots of Sightseeing--On Down to Limehouse--A Wonderful Cruise Down to the Thames Barrier--Out onto the Thames in Liberty Belle--Up to Teddington--Farewell to Our Travelling Companions

May 17th--25th On the Thames
A Change of Plan--I Buy a Dongle--We Play 'Sardines' in the Lock--A Noisy Neighbour--Our Postmen Arrive--Some Rather Unpleasant Tupperware Boaters--Dorchester-on-Thames--Awful Weather--A Very Fast Current

May 26th--31stThe Red Boards are out
We Make it to Osney--A Very Strong Current--Moored up and Safe--The Red Boards are out--Two feet High Waves--A Man in the Bushes--We Make a Break for it--We Can Wash at Last!--Oh No! The Rain is Back and so are the Red Boards--Is This Really the Way to Spend One's Twilight Years?!

June 5th--25th A Week in Kent, Then a Cruise up to the Furthermost Navigable Part of the Thames
I Have a Wonderful Week in Kent--We go on up the Thames--I am Treated to Breakfast--We Save a Sheep from Drowning--No Room to Moor at Kelmscott--We Nearly Lose the Boat at Lechlade--We Walk into Wiltshire--We Turn Round and Set off Back Downstream--Three Lovely Nights in One of my Favourite Moorings--Slowly Back Down to Eynsham
