The final stages of the hull being built

These pictures were taken on Wednesday, July 24th, the third week of the hull building

The cabin sides and roof are on.

All that remains now is for the portholes and side hatches to be cut out.

It's beginning to look like a proper narrowboat at last.

On Sunday or Monday, we expect this huge pile of sheet metal, weighing about 10 tons,

to be rolled out of the shed and craned on to a lorry, for its journey by road to Braunston Marina,

where it will be craned in to the water for its fitout.

Hopefully, the pictures will be of better quality when we can take them out of doors.
