Next the interior wood panelling was fitted on the sides and the ceiling.

And now you can see the ballast is in.
Three tons of paving slabs go in to the bottom of the boat, under the floor,
to ensure she stays steady in the water.
There is more ballast on the left than the right
to allow for the fact that most of the heavy stuff will be on the right.
For example, the engine, the bathroom, the dinette and most of the kitchen.
(This might be a good time for a nautical lesson!
Left=port, Right =starboard.

The floor will be laid over the top of this
Sheets of compressed fibreboard will go down first--
you can see them lying against the sides of the boat
then on top of this will go the proper flooring, which is to be wood.
