Winter Begins
We shall spend the next four months on the Llangollen Canal. We have thirty-four miles of glorious Welsh scenery to enjoy, plus a few small towns to visit and where we can shop. We have a couple of breaks planned, so that we don't get cabin fever!
There is a number of boats up here for the winter, doing the same as us, and we pass each other as we trundle along. But I shan't be posting any more regular weekly pages until we start out on our cruise next year. That will be some time after March 11th, when all of the work on the Llangollen locks has been completed and we can rejoin the main canal system. However, if anything interesting happens I'll post it, so do come and look from time to time. In the meantime, if you've enjoyed reading my website, have any comments to make or would just like to get in touch, please use the email link on the home page. I'd love to hear from you. I know that the website is read all over the world, and I'd like to know how far it reaches. Thanks to everyone we've met along the way, who've helped make this such another wonderful year for us--fellow boaters, friends and people we've never met but have talked to by email.
Have a good winter, keep warm!
See you next year,
Angela
